Between the Highlands and Lowlands, this area is filled with the natural beauty of the Scottish landscape but with a diverse landscape is also within reach of the large cities ensuring there is always something to do. Fife is a coastal region with the infamous St. Andrews known for its Golf Course and its University. Only the Forth Road Bridge stands between Fife and Edinburgh so is ideal for those that want to escape the busy capital city and enjoy relaxation.
The Angus area is home to Dundee, a city alive with both the traditional and the modern. Attractions include the Sensation Science Museum and Discovery Point recreating the life of Captain Scott. Pictavia visitor centre rediscovers the life of the Picts and the children can enjoy the nature trails and animal farms. Visit Scone Palace found by the River Tay and discover the place that Scottish Kings were crowned. To the west of the region is the Cairngorms National Park where hill walkers can see the landscape.
Perthshire lets visitors choose the holiday they are looking for with its vast array of attractions. Ben Lawers is a wondrous mountain and just below can be found Loch Tay – the largest loch in the area. But it is the Scottish Crannog Centre that will provide an insight to life back in the Iron Age.
