THE GARDEN
Here at Beckfoot we have over 3 acres of grounds and woodland to roam. Mature laid out gardens at the front and side and a paddock and wood at the rear. This also leads out onto the fell at the rear of the property which can take you across to Lake Ullswater which utilizes part of the Coast to coast route and Haweswater reservoir where England's only pair of breeding Eagles nest
Dogs are very welcome, please bring your pets bedding with you if you want them to come in the bedroom with you. We do stipulate that no animals are allowed in the downstairs reception rooms. We have a doggy loo in the garden with scooper for your use, situated up the steps from the car park next to the new patio.
Guitar Weekends:
These are weekends set aside just for guitar enthusiasts to come away for a weekend to learn more about how to play the guitar and to meet other like minded players. The weekends cover most styles of playing including Strugglers, Improvers, Rock, Blues, Django Jazz, Maintenance & setting up, Country and Bass. Our most popular guitar weekends are the Strugglers weekend, the Improvers weekend and the Blues weekend. Only eight people are allowed on each guitar weekend giving an excellent level of teaching. You will learn to play rhythm better, learn to play with other players and improve your general ability as a guitar player and be able to improvise over common chord progressions.
This makes an excellent present for the one you love if his hobby is playing the guitar. This weekend is not for raw beginners. For more information including dates and prices please see http://www.guitarweekends.co.uk/
