Self Catering Cottage/Home/Apartment Description
The holiday cottage sleeps eight non-smokers in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, 15 miles from the North Norfolk coast. 130 miles from London with local airport link to Amsterdam from Norwich city.
Pollywiggle Cottage is a five-bedroomed accommodation comprising:
Entrance hall/bootroom. Beamed sitting room with multi-fuel wood-burner. Dining room with high chair. Well-equipped fitted kitchen. Bathroom/W.C. shower over bath.
First floor: two double bedrooms (one with 5' bed), two single bedrooms, one twin-bedded room with 2'6" beds, two travel cots, high chair, separate W.C.
The following are included: all linen (duvets), towels, electricity and oil central heating and logs. Colour TV, DVD / VHS player, stereo/CD player, telephone (incoming calls only), microwave, fridge-freezer and larder fridge, dishwasher, automatic washing machine, tumble drier. Parking for four cars. A shelter for eight bicycles. Garden with furniture and small portable barbecue. Small, unfenced pond (beware - parents must supervise toddlers at all times!)
The accommodation has low ceilings and narrow, steep stairs typical of an old cottage. There is a no smoking rule at all times.
One well-behaved dog may be considered and only on the condition that the garden and property are not fouled or damaged. The pet should be kept under control at all times in order to protect the furnishings, carpets and decorations. In particular, the pet must be kept downstairs in the non-carpeted areas and should never be left unattended in the cottage or allowed to foul the garden, which is unfenced and frequented by children. The cost for a pet is £20 pw.

The market town of Fakenham is four miles away and offers shops, restaurants, pubs, bowling, golf and a race course. A wealth of attractions are within an easy drive including Castle Acre, Pensthorpe Wildfowl Centre, Thursford Steam Collection, Gressenhall Rural life Museum, Holkham Hall, the Royal Family's holiday home at Sandringham Estate, Little Walsingham Abbey, Wells (pictured right), the North Norfolk coastal steam railway and the Georgian town of Holt.
Long, sandy, unspoilt beaches are fifteen miles away at the small port of Wells-next-the-Sea. This is a coast where you can take a seal trip to Blakeney Point, walk the salt marsh paths at Stiffkey, visit bird-watching reserves at Titchwell or find fossils in the cliffs of Hunstanton.
