Our property is a traditional 17th Century Westmorland farmhouse recently refurbished to provide very spacious en-suite rooms with the following facilities:
King size beds/ twin beds as required
TV & radio, CD & DVD units
Comfortable, relaxing armchairs and sofas
Breakfast in the garden roomGuests are invited to take meals in the Garden Room overlooking the splendid Pennine scenery and Cross Fell in particular. At sunrise and sunset these hills can provide a dramatic ever changing tapestry of colour as reflected light and shadows gradually move over the slopes.
Breakfast and evening meals are prepared wherever possible using local produce and particular dietary requirements will be catered for by prior arrangement
Enjoy a glass of wine in the
large guest lounge The large guest lounge with log burning stove in the inglenook provides a comfortable retreat for guests wishing to relax with a book, plan the next day's itinerary or just sit and relflec with a glass of wine. A large selection of local guides and maps are available together with DVDs should you wish to take in a film, perhaps with a supper tray in your room.

Located in t he heart of Cumbria's Eden Valley North End provides the perfect base to explore the Lake District, the North Pennines along with Teesdale, the Yorkshire Dales, or just a little further afield, Hadrian's Wall Country.
Dufton Pike provides exceptional
views of the Eden Valley Local attractions abound, be it historic castles, gardens, natural scenery art and craft shops or a wide variety of wildlife. For those keen on walking or cycling the local lanes and hills provide a wealth of opportunities to take in short or long expeditions. We are happy to suggest itinerates that we have enjoyed ourselves and guests are welcome to use our large selection of maps and local guides.

Bolton is situated approx. 2 miles north of Appleby in Westmorland and 10 miles S.E of Penrith.
From Penrith ( Junction 40 M6 ) take A6 south over Eamont Bridge and then second left towards Cliburn and Bolton.
From Appleby take A66 towards Penrith and turn left after approx.1 mile and follow minor road into Bolton, crossing River Eden.
In centre of village at cross roads take road opposite village green and North End is situated on right 500 yards along.
