Paignton itself is set in the heart of the famous English Riviera bordered by the splendid resort of Torquay to the East and historic Brixham to the West. Surrounded by fabulous South Devon Scenery and Torbays famous beaches with scores of attractions and places of interest.

Evenings offer a choice of theatres and night life for all. The Clifton is ideally located - level yards from the seafront, shops, main railway and coach stations, in fact so close you may never need the car while you are here.

Miles of walks including the South West Coastal Path, Dartmoor and river walks.

Swimming and beaches:

many nearby, Torquay and Paignton are just two of some of the best in the West Country

Fishing and Sailing:

There are fishing trips and pleasure trips - including an hourly ferry to Brixham from the harbour in Paignton.

There are also both sea and freshwater pleasure boat trips from Torquay and nearby Stoke Gabriel, Totnes and up river on the Dart.

BEAUTIFUL SANDY BEACHES - PAIGNTON

Exploring:

Try wandering around Paignton and Torquay harboursides, the shops of Paignton and Torquay's Fleet Walk shopping precinct, the Pavilion and much much more.

Going further afield, you can ramble across the wilds of Dartmoor National Park, see the Dartmoor Ponies, visit places of interest such as Widdecombe in the Moor.

Torbay and its environs also offers a rich diversity of places to eat out, theme bars and Nightclubs to suit all tastes.

Totnes and Dartington Hall are less than 30 minutes away.
Totnes is an Elizabethan river town with an ancient castle. The beauty of Dartington Hall with it's glorious gardens and world famous arts and music activities makes this an essential place to visit.

Dartmouth, Dartmoor, Salcombe, Exeter and Plymouth can all be reached easily.

Paignton Zoo is only a mile or so away and there are river and sea cruises and steam train trips nearby.

Torquay has Kents Cavern and a large model village among other attractions and there is a go kart track on the way to the delightful fishing port of Brixham.

Weekly Price: £212.00 to £301.00
Shortbreak Price: £164.00

Special rates for children when sharing with two adults:
2-11 years: Half adult price
12-15 years: Two thirds adult price

A minimum surcharge of £2.00 per person will be made on single night stays.

It is possible, if desired, to make a bed and breakfast reservation, and take our delicious home produced evening meals (using the best of fresh produce - organic, whenever possible) as required at a cost of £14.50 per person, for three courses, followed by tea or coffee with mints.

Whilst we are happy to accept most cards, credit cards incur a small surcharge.
