B&B / Guest House Description
Set in the "Heart of Devon" countryside, just outside the village of Yeoford, 4 miles from the Dartmoor National Park and 12 miles from the cathedral city of Exeter.
A lounge with kitchen and dining areas, Free Wi-Fi Internet Access, 25 inch colour TV with Freeview and DVD player, radio/CD, full size fridge, kettle. Tea, coffee, fresh milk and biscuits. Hall with stairs to bedroom, mahogany sleigh bed, pocket sprung mattress and a spacious bathroom. Opening off the lounge area is a large raised deck with hardwood furniture and parasol overlooking the 1.5 acre woodland garden which is packed with a variety of plants for year round interest.
Breakfast is served in the dining room of the main house to be chosen from a comprehensive menu to include local sausages, bacon and eggs for the traditional breakfast, or choose alternatives such as Smoked Haddock with Poached Eggs, Scrambled Eggs with Smoked Salmon, all served with our own freshly baked bread.
The apartment is an ideal retreat for those seeking privacy and seclusion, with the benefits of serviced accommodation. You will have your own key to come and go as you wish.
Yeoford station is within half a mile (picturesque Tarka line) where you can take the train to Exeter and Exmouth in one direction, or Barnstaple and Okehampton in the other direction, passing through a patchwork of fields and wooded river valleys, should you wish to leave your car behind for the day.
We have our local village pub within easy walking distance or a choice of other pubs or restaurants within a few miles. Brickmoor offers plenty of private off-road parking (behind closed gates at night).
