The bay with its mile long sandy beach is only moments away and a short stroll will take you down the working harbour. At the Ashbank our bedrooms are comfortably furnished with modern en-suite facilities and sea and gold course views. The bright and cosy dining room with fireplace is licensed and offers an extensive menu, home cooked from the finest local ingredients. After dinner you may wish to relax with your coffee in either the two comfortable lounges.
In addition to the beach and golf course Carradale offers forest, hill and glen walks, river and sea fishing. There is a wildlife reserve, home to a herd of wild goats, and the surrounding area is well known as a birdwatcher's paradise. Ferries to the Isles – Arran, Islay, Jura and Gigha are nearby.
Guests at the Ashbank can enjoy a day on Carradale Golf Course at a discounted rate of £9.00. The hotel also has a fishing permit for Carradale River where guests can fish for salmon, sea trout or brown trout.
