If coming via the M6 motorway turn off at junction 36 onto the A590 (A591) to Kendal and Windermere. Follow the dual carriageway to the large roundabout just outside Kendal. Carry on along the A591 to Windermere. After passing the village sign stay on the main road, ignoring the sign into the town centre and we are about 500 metres on the left hand side just before the church.

Hotel Description
The Ravensworth Hotel is a 19th century stone built house which still retains many of its original features. You can enjoy a warm welcome and with fourteen bedrooms including single, double, twin, super king size to the superior four poster bedrooms you are sure to find something to suit. Rooms are centrally heated with en-suite shower or bathroom, direct dial telephone, colour TV, hairdryer, alarm clock/radio and tea and coffee making facilities. Ironing board and iron can be provided on request.
Family rooms will sleep three in a double or twin plus a single bed and rooms at the rear have a small patio area. For a little added luxury, the four poster rooms include bath robes and coffee machines, DVD players with a selection of films and are more spacious.
If you are celebrating, sparkling wine or champagne on ice, fresh flowers and chocolates can be arranged. If you have any special requests, just let us know and we'd be happy to help.
In the morning you can enjoy breakfast served in the conservatory from 8:30am to 9:30am. Full English breakfasts are freshly prepared or if you'd prefer a vegetarian alternative or something lighter we have a selection of alternatives to set you up for the day ahead.
Unwind after a day exploring in the lounge or on the terrace. If you're unsure of what to do and what to see we can help advise you and make reservations for coach trips around the Lakes.
Well behaved children are very welcome at the hotel but unfortunately we are unable to accept dogs in any of the rooms. The hotel is also completely non-smoking. Ample parking is available with car parks available at the front and rear of the property. Guests bringing laptops can make use of the wireless internet available.
