Leave the M74 – which is a continuation of the M6 motorway from England - at junction 15 (signposted for Moffat and Beattock). Junction 15 is just 30 miles over the England/Scotland border. Follow the signs for Moffat, which is only about a mile away. As you approach the town centre you will see St Andrews Parish Church on your left opposite the Black Bull Hotel on your right. Turn right immediately after the Black Bull and right again, so that the back of the hotel is now on your right. Follow the road round and continue into the A708 Selkirk road. Just after you see a rugby field on your right, you will arrive at a crossroads where you turn left into Ballplay Road. The Villa is about 100 yards along on your right – and only about a half mile from the town centre. It is set back about 20 yards from the road, accessible via a sweeping drive.

The 24-feet long drawing room offers impressive views from the large bay window. All the furnishings are of a high standard and include a dining table and a good quality sofa bed, which can sleep two. There's a large TV with digibox, video and DVD plus a music system.
There are two large bedrooms - the double with an ensuite. The second bedroom has twin beds but if not required, the room - which has a piano - can be arranged as a sitting room. A portable TV can be viewed in either.
The 16-feet kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with breakfast table, cooker, fridge, freezer, washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave and other appliances such as a 'George Foreman' grill. The bathroom is stylishly tiled and includes an over-bath shower. There is gas central heating, dedicated private car parking and a covered area for cycles.
Holm Park is within easy walking distance of Moffat's attractive centre, which offers a variety of shops, restaurants, hotels, bars and cafes as well as a tourist information office. There are facilities for golfers and anglers, while the beautiful Dumfries and Galloway countryside is a haven for walkers, cyclists and bird watchers.
