South Lakes Junction 36 and follow the signs to the centre of Windermere. Travel past all of the shops and take a left into Broad Street when you see the Parking sign. Proceed to the end of the road and turn right, you will see us on the left hand corner. There is parking for 4 cars at the front of the property and lots of additional free parking further up along Park Road.

B&B / Guest House Description
1 Park Road offers a Fully Licensed Bar and Dining Room with a superb selection of wines, continental beers, spirits and liqueurs. We are also well known for our superb collection of laid-back eclectic music from around the world. Our Bistro-style Candlelit Dinners are increasingly popular, particularly with our return visitors, click on the Dining link for the current menu and details of the nights we offer the Bar & Dining option.
1 Park Road is a great base for Windermere and the surrounding lakes and fells. We are only a few 5 minutes walk to the numerous pubs, restaurants and cafés, the train and bus stations and a 20 minute stroll to Bowness and the famous lake itself. We're in the heart of the action but are close to Ambleside, Grasmere and Lakeside, the perfect location to explore the South Lakes, the most beautiful corner of England.
All of our extremely large, high-ceiling rooms can comfortably cater for singles, couples and families up to four.
As the property has been sympathetically restored, not one of our rooms has been subdived and they maintain their original spacious feel.
They all enjoy excellent quality furniture and linen, private En-suite shower facilities, Colour TV, DVD Player (A large selection of Movies are available to rent on-site), CD Player and Tea & Coffee making facilities.
Our Superior Rooms enjoy the luxury of having more space in which to relax.
