Local Attractions
Situated on the North Norfolk coastline you are only just a few minutes from the dog friendly beach. Take a walk along the beach and you'll reach Hunstanton a mile along. Ducks and swans are frequent visitors to the Park with the river running along the boundary. The beaches nearby with their calm waters provide the perfect spot for wind surfing and jet skiing or the kids can enjoy a pony ride along the beach.
Take a trip to the Norfolk Lavender Centre a few miles away with home grown lavender products and tea room. The Queen's Country Retreat, Sandringham, is open to the public and less than 30 minutes away. A 45 minute drive from Heacham will take you to the Poppy Line Railway where you can sit back and enjoy the 10.5 miles of Norfolk views, Victorian stations, steam museum with a buffet and tea rooms.
Muckleburgh Collection has a vast range of World War II tanks, guns, aircraft and armoured vehicles with a wide number of exhibits to discover. Visit on a Sunday for the tank demonstrations from April to October. There are a number of castles in the area including Castle Rising 10 minutes away or the Halls including Houghton Hall, Felbrigg Hall and Holkham Hall.
Animal lovers can visit the Sea Life Centre which is home to otters, penguins and more marine life or the Sea Life Sanctuary where they care for seal pups. The RSPB Nature Reserves at Snttisham and Titchwell are rich in bird life. Open daily from April to October is the Norfolk Shire Horse Centre and West Runton Riding Stables for accompanied rides. Take a boat trip to Blakeney Point to discover the seals. Snittisham Wildlife Park provides a great family day out with petting farm, tea rooms, souvenir shops and country walks.

Caravan Description
Set within Park Resorts at Heacham Beach, New House Holiday Caravans is a family run business with 7 caravans each 12' x 35' plus in length to offer a spacious, clean and comfortable place to stay in North Norfolk.
Fully equipped, each caravan includes full size TV, video recorder, DVD player, stereo system, iron, ironing board, hairdryer and fully equipped kitchen. Duvets and pillows are supplied so you just need to bring linen or we can supply them. Several of the caravans have verandas and balconies with patio furniture so you can enjoy the best of the British weather and for guests with difficulties managing steps there is a caravan with a full length ramp and balcony close to the entertainment complex.
• Caravan one has two bedrooms – a double and twin room but can easily accommodate up to 8 people with a double pull out bed in the lounge and dining area able to convert into a double. There's a bathroom with half bath/shower and a separate toilet and furnished throughout in light pine. There is plenty of parking available at the front and side of the caravan and the 16' x 9' veranda offers a great place to relax with deck chairs, wind breaks and baby gate available in the shed.
• Caravan two is in a prime location in the Park with open plan design and 3 bedrooms (one double and two twin rooms) but will comfortably sleep 8 with use of the sofas in the lounge. This caravan is furnished in dark oak with separate bathroom and toilet and includes a large family size freezer in the spacious kitchen. The balcony is 10' x 8' with patio furniture available in the shed and ample parking to the front and side of the caravan.
• Caravan three is again three bedrooms with one double and two twin rooms. The lounge can also be converted to a second double bed. This caravan is furnished in dark mahogany, includes separate bathroom and toilet with a 5' x 17' veranda and patio furniture available. Parking is available to the front and side of the caravan.
• Caravan four has three bedrooms with ample storage space. The layout is different with the lounge seating wrapped around a false wall by the entrance and an almost open plan kitchen. The shower room has a fully enclosed glass door cubicle and separate toilet. Bedrooms include a double and two twin rooms. There's a full length ramp and small balcony with furniture available. This caravan is in a quiet area but close to the children's playground.
• Caravan five has two bedrooms and the same model as caravan one. This caravan has extra seating in the lounge with the lounge doubling as another double bed to sleep 6. Furnished in a beech effect there's a spacious square kitchen, half bath/shower, separate toilet and situated close to the clubhouse and amenities in a quiet area.
• Caravans six and seven are 'Silver Plus' being only a few years old and perfect for large families with two toilets. Caravan 6 has two bedrooms with en-suite double room with two full sized wardrobes, chest of drawers and dressing table. The second bedroom is a twin with wardrobe and dressing table. Furnished in light pine the lounge has two L shaped seating areas with pull out double bed to sleep six people, well equipped kitchen, separate dining area seating 6, spacious bathroom with fully enclosed glass shower cubicle, washbasin and toilet. Patio furniture is available in the adjoining shed with parking available. Caravan seven has three bedrooms with a double and two twin rooms sleeping 8 with a pull out double in the lounge. You can unwind in the lounge in front of the gas fire with contemporary fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped with decorative cooker hood and full size oven, breakfast bar with glass fronted shelves above, microve wave cooker, fridge and ample cupboard space. There's a spacious bathroom with fully enclosed shower, low level toilet and pedestal wash basin and separate toilet close to the bedrooms. Outdoor furniture can be found in the shed and there's parking available to the front and side of the caravan.
Perfect for families the beach is only a few minutes walk from the main gate or you can buy the Park pass to enjoy all the facilities available on site (this is not included in the price of the caravan). These include the indoor swimming pool complex and kids paddling pool, family club house and bar with live entertainment, restaurant, adventure playground, sports field, all weather sports court, Sparky's Crew Club for 5 to 11 year olds, Mini Mart shop, laundrette, Amusements Pavilion, pool table, take away outlet and bicycle and go-kart hire.
Dogs are welcome at Park Resorts where they must be kept on a lead at all times and we don't make any extra charge for well behaved dogs in our caravans.
