You can explore the area on foot, go bird watching, fishing in the fresh water lochs, salmon and Trout Rivers and sea fishing or just enjoy the tranquillity of the area. Golfers can find the Harris Golf Course just minutes from the Guest House with the Atlantic Ocean providing the largest natural bunker in the world.
The nearby attractions include Seallam Visitor Centre (one of the best genelogical research centres in Scotland) and the late 15th century St Clement's Church at Rodel.
Just remember and bring your camera to capture the mountains, contrasting sea colours and wildlife whatever the season may be.

Self Catering Cottage/Home/Apartment Description
Beul na Mara Guest House and Self Catering Cottages offer luxurious accommodation with the exceptional backdrop of the Isle Harris away from the hustle and bustle of the mainland. Both the Cottages and Guest House have a high quality 4 star rating providing all guests with the perfect place to stay.
The self catering cottages sleep 7 and 5 with the larger cottage consisting of 3 bedrooms (2 family rooms and 1 twin bedroom) along with 2 public rooms, kitchen and bathroom. The smaller cottage has 2 double rooms and a single room with lounge/dining area, kitchen and bathroom. Fully equipped, each cottage provides home comforts and facilities so you can make the most of your stay including microwave, automatic washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer, Sky satellite TV and DVD players. Bed linen is provided but guests are asked to bring their own towels or they can be hired.
There's ample parking by each cottage with private ground and private enclosed child friendly gardens. A barbeque is also available for use.
At Beul na Mara Bed and Breakfast you are ensured a warm welcome from host Catherine with the location providing one of the most picturesque areas on the west coast of Harris with views across to Taransay, the sandy beaches of Luskentyre and the North Harris hills. Centrally heated throughout the house provides high quality en-suite bedrooms with tea and coffee making facilities. The guest lounge has a TV which along with the conservatory shares scenic views over Seilebost. Evening meals are available which include healthy Scottish fare.
