When staying at 2 Towan Place you could be excused for wanting to do nothing more than soak up the sun at the neighbouring Fistral Beach and relaxing in the comfortable apartment, but there is a wealth of experiences to be had in Newquay.
The nearby Dungeon of Despair is a fascinating attraction for adults and children alike; here you can find out all about the legends, myths and stories which abound regarding Cornwall. Learn about the plague, smugglers and all things fantastical and downright nasty about the area. Fantastic for a family day out and packed full of historical treats and snippets that children in particular will enjoy.
The Blue Reef Aquarium is another must see. Located on Towan Beach, this is one of Newquays most popular tourist attractions. The walkway tunnels will have you gasping in delight at the sharks and other marine life who slowly swim inches above your head. Younger children always enjoy looking at the multitudes of fish in the Aquarium and the interactive displays will hold the interest of the older people in your party.
If you fancy trying your hand at surfing there are several Surf Schools located near to Towan Place, catering for all levels of experience the fully qualified instructors will have you ready to ride the waves in no time.

Located next to the beautiful Fistral Beach, 2 Towan Place is a modern two bedroom apartment which will sleep up to six people. With sea views across Headland Point from the living room and patio area, the apartment is finished to a very high specification throughout.
The spacious living room is decorated in airy neutral tones and features large French windows which allow in plenty of light and offers outstanding sea views. The living room is comfortably furnished with a three seater leather sofa and matching leather armchair, and your entertainment is taken care of with a widescreen TV, DVD player and stereo.
The attractively designed kitchen features attractive wooden cupboards and is tiled using warm blue tiles. All appliances are of the highest standard and include a washer/tumble dryer, dishwasher, fridge freezer, gas hob with electric oven and a microwave. Smaller kitchen appliances are also supplied, as is a good assortment of cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. Located through a pretty archway off the open plan kitchen is a smart dining area consisting of a modern 'chunky' dining table and four chairs.
Both bedrooms have an attractive seaside colour scheme. The aqua décor in the Master bedroom is paired with a crisp white, making the most of the natural light in the room. In this room you have a comfortable double bed and high quality furnishings; bedside tables, wardrobe and chest of drawers. A wall mounted TV and DVD player are provided for your entertainment. The Master bedroom has a modern en-suite bathroom which features a WC, shower cubicle, mirrored cabinet and wash basin.
Our twin room features two large and comfortable single beds, both of which have a pull out bed underneath allowing you to be more flexible with your sleeping arrangements. This room has a sandy coloured décor which makes the bedroom seem light and airy throughout the day and evening.
The main bathroom is modern in design and very attractive, and is complete with a bath with shower, WC, wash basin, heated towel rail, mirror and shelf. A shaver socket is also installed in the bathroom, as well as a hairdryer and straighteners being present in the apartment for your use.
If you stay at 2 Towan Place, you can expect fabulous sea views from the private patio accessed via the French windows in the lounge. There is also a communal grassy area to the front of the property which is ideal for sitting in the sun with a good book. Entry into the property is controlled from a phone intercom and there is a designated parking space for guests to our apartment.
