Holiday Park Description
Bucklegrove offers the perfect place to stay with 2 fields (Main Field and The Grove) for touring and camping guests and holiday homes which will sleep up to 7. Most of the pitches include 10 amp electrical hook up and the spacious level pitches have enough space for parking alongside. The Grove is a partially terraced field with picturesque views over the Somerset hills and is perfect for tents and tourers. The Main Field offers the children's play area, indoor heated pool and club where you can enjoy a drink from the bar and get a meal.
The holiday homes will sleep 2 to 7 and are fully equipped with modern conveniences so you can make the most of the self catering accommodation. The Beechwood and The Chestnut include a microwave while all caravans include full size fridge, cooker, gas, water, electricity, mains drainage and linen is included (bed linen, dishcloths and tea towels) but we do ask guests bring their own towels. In the lounge you can unwind in front of the TV with plenty of seating for everyone. There's a shower, basin and toilet while outside you have enough space to enjoy the weather with a picnic.
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate pets in the holiday homes but they are welcome in the touring park during low and mid season.
Bucklegrove has an indoor heated swimming pool within a log cabin on the Main Field which is open daily between Easter and October. There's an adult only session between 10am and 11am and the pool is not supervised so all children must be accompanied by an adult. The cabin also includes a small pool for under-5s.
The park includes 2 blocks with toilets, free showers and dishwashing facilities. Shaver points, hairdryers and power points are available for a charge and in the main block guests will also find a bathroom with full sized bath, baby bath and baby changing table. Disabled guests can access the disabled shower room and WC in the main block.
The Club, located in the Main Field serves hot, cold and alcoholic beverages, ice cream and confectionary. Just keep an eye out for Happy Hour! During peak season there's entertainment provided most nights including quizzes, karaoke, bingo and theme nights. From the kitchen you can enjoy a bar meal served at lunch, evening and Sunday lunch times. If you're planning an occasion, we can provide hot, cold or an informal buffet.
At the entrance to Bucklegrove you'll find a shop with off-license where you can buy fresh, canned and frozen food. Newspapers are delivered daily and there's a selection of toys and sweets. If you need gas or caravan and camping equipment we stock a limited range.
With Bucklegrove's high 4 star rating, we are sure you will enjoy your stay with the friendly and welcome atmosphere.
