Pitlochry provides a great range of places to eat and drink and many attractions including the stunning Scottish scenery. At Pitlochry Festival Theatre you can see a range of plays during the week, exhibitions and concerts. The Plant Collectors garden is close by with interesting species. Pitlochry Dam has a small visitors centre but the view over Loch Faskally should not be missed and you can watch the salmon jumping.
Blair Athol Distillery is the home of Bells Whisky where you can enjoy a tour and a sample. Shoppers can enjoy the House of Bruar (or Harrods of the North) with various departments and restaurant. Learn of the Pass of Killiecrankie and the nature trail and visitors centre and take a photo of the Queen's View by Loch Tummel. Take a part of Scotland home with you with jewellery made out of heather from Heathergems factory and visit the Dunfallandy Stone which dates back over 1000 years with Pictish symbols.

For luxurious self catering accommodation in Perthshire, Kinnaird Woodland Lodges offer the perfect places to stay in the Highlands just outside Pitlochry. The accommodation consists of 5 log cabins and a cottage, all of which offer picturesque panoramic views over hills, fields and woodlands to the mountains.
Craigower Lodge and Shiehallion Lodge are 2 bedroom woodland lodges sleeping up to 4 in a double and twin room. Spacious and comfortable, the luxurious accommodation is homely and welcoming with patio doors from the living room to the private decking, wood burning stove, 2 sofas, TV, DVD and video player. We've provided books and games and the kitchen and dining room is fully equipped with fridge, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and crockery, glasses, utensils and pans included. The master bedroom has enough space for a cot (provided free in Craigower) and lots of storage. There's a BBQ on the decking and all linen, toilet rolls and cleaning products are provided.
Ben-Y-Vrackie Lodge will sleep 4 adults and 2 children within the spacious double and twin bedrooms with additional sofa bed in the lounge. The lodge has fantastic views of the hills and you can take advantage of them out on the decking with a barbeque. Heating provided from the log burning stove in the living room with a 3 and 2-seater sofa, TV, video and DVD player. The kitchen includes fridge, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, crockery, glasses, utensils and pans. The bathroom has a bath and shower and bed linen is provided with toilet rolls and cleaning products included.
Bealach Lodge and Beinn-a-Ghlo Lodge sleeps 2 in a double with an en-suite bathroom and provides the perfect accommodation for a romantic break. The luxurious lodges have a comfortable living room with log burning stove, sofa, armchair, TV, video and DVD player. The kitchen includes fridge, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, crockery, glasses, utensils and pans. In the bathroom you can unwind in the relaxing spa bath and have a BBQ out on the deck. Bed linen, toilet rolls and cleaning products are included.
Garden Cottage will sleep 4 in the 2 bedrooms – a double and a twin room. Unwind in the living room on the 2 large sofas in front of the TV with a video or DVD and we've provided games and books for you to use. The dining room includes a large family table with additional seating and TV. In the kitchen there's a larder fridge, electric cooker, microwave, crockery, glasses, utensils and pans. The downstairs shower room includes shower, toilet and wash basin. Central heating is provided from October to May with additional heating in the bedrooms and all linen is supplied along with toilet rolls and cleaning materials. When the weather is good you can go out onto the elevated patio and enjoy a barbeque.
The lodges have free use of the washing machine at the owners property and Garden Cottage has a washing machine in the outhouse 5m from the cottage.
