Borth is an area rich in wildlife and plant life waiting to be explored. Perfect for young children, the Ynyslas Nature Reserve arranges activities during the summer to teach them about the birds, butterflies and rare orchids. Cardigan Bay has a golden sandy beach and rock pools to explore or you can talk a walk along the footpaths to the nearby villages.
There is a range of places to eat and drink and entertainment provided free of charge at a larger caravan park. The Animalarium provides a great family day out and the village also has an amusement arcade, tennis courts or there are several golf courses in the area. Fishermen can fish for mackerel, bass, skate and flatfish from the beach, go deep sea fishing, river or lake fishing.
Aberystwyth provides a variety of things to do including crazy golf, amusements, museum, theatre, cinemas, shops and restaurants or you can take a trip on the steam railway.

From Machnynlleth on the A487: continue towards Aberystwyth where after 9 miles you will reach Tre'rddol and Texaco Garage on the left. Turn right to the B4353 for Borth, past the golf course and through the village to the Y junction (Spar/Post Office on the left and Lifeboat Station on the right). Turn right onto the B4572 for Clarach and continue for 1/3 mile where you will find the park on the last entrance on the left.
From Llangurig on the A44: continue to and through Capel Bangor taking the second exit at the roundabout for Bowstreet on the A4159. Continue for 3 miles joining the A487 for Machynlleth and turn right onto Bowstreet. Pass through the village till you reach the garage on your left and turn left to the B4353 signposted Borth. Pass under 2 railway bridges where you will find the Holiday Park on your left and turn left by Spar/Post Office and up the hill for 1/3 mile where you will find the last entrance on the left.

Northfield Holiday Park has been run by Ann and Bob Moore for 20 years receiving an exceptional quality 5 star rating from the Welsh Tourist Board, Green Globe membership and a David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award.
The Holiday Park has 13 caravans of various sizes and 2 chalets for hire with picturesque views across Cardigan Bay. The caravans, which range from a from a 25 x 10ft two bedroom to a 36 x 12ft three bedroom, are fully equipped with WC, cooker, fridge, TV, duvets, electric kettle, toaster and vacuum cleaner with the larger caravans also including microwave, video recorder and full bedding. Guests with mobility problems will be welcome in the 35 x 10ft ramped caravan.
The chalets at the Holiday Park have a double room, a twin room and a single room with high bed. The open plan living area creates a spacious and airy lounge, kitchen and dining room with stunning views from the veranda where you can sit and enjoy a meal. Chalets include a bath and shower, TV, DVD player, cooker, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, fridge freezer, vacuum cleaner and electric heating throughout. Beds are ready for your arrival with cotton sheets and duvet covers.
Northfield Holiday Park has been landscaped and planted with a variety of herbs, shrubs and sub-tropical palms which attract butterflies and birds. The colourful Park looks out over Borth and an adventure playground gives children a place to play while the adults relax at the picnic tables. Pets too are welcome at Northfield Holiday Park but there are pet-free caravans available throughout the year.
