Within walking distance of the Dol Peris Hotel, Llanberis has many attractions including Techiquest at Electric Mountain where children and adults can learn all about science with hands on exhibits and interactive science show. Electric Mountain itself is a lakeside centre with films, art gallery, displays and café. There are regular visits to Dinorwig Power Station from Electric Mountain. The National Slate Museum has captured the history of the Dinorwig Quarry with demonstrations, Quarrymen's houses, foundry giant waterwheel and a children's play area.
To capture the beauty of the area the Llanberis Lake Railway will take you on a trip to discover the views from Llyn Padarn to Snowdon or the more adventurous may prefer the ropes and ladders where you can try the aerial challenges, zip line, climbing leap of faith and giant swing. Or if you'd prefer to stay on the ground, Dolbadarn Castle is popular with many tourists and is considered one of Wales' finest native-built castles.
Within 10 miles of the hotels you can also try Piggery Pottery, Greenwood Forest Park or the multi award winning family attraction: The Fun Centre in Caernarfon with 25 ft giant slides, ball pools, climbing walls and mazes.

Hotel Description
The Dol Peris Hotel is a 19th Century building with plenty of free off road parking available, a lounge where you can relax in front of the TV, a bright breakfast room and bedrooms that will suit all our guests.
Each room has an en-suite, TV and tea and coffee making facilities with drying room and hairdryer also available. To allow all our guests to enjoy their stay, the hotel has a non-smoking policy throughout and the rooms are clean, comfortable and individual. In the morning enjoy a delicious breakfast in the cheery breakfast room.
For guests that have a large family or groups that are just looking for a place to stay, the bunkhouse provides the comfort of the hotel without the accompaniments. Sleeping up to 6 and 8 in the 2 large en-suite rooms guests will find a complimentary set of tea, coffee, shower gel and soap, private room with TV and tea and coffee making facilities, lounge where you are free to watch a DVD or read a book, bottom sheet and pillow and access to the drying room and storage room for bikes. Guests staying in the bunkhouse will need to bring towels and sleeping bag/duvet, and breakfast is not provided, but there are cafes within walking distance.
