Ocklynge Manor is 1 mile from Eastbourne sea front and within easy walking distance of Eastbourne town centre. The guest accommodation is conveniently situated for Eastbourne Ladies International Tennis Tournament in Devonshire Park in June, theatres, Beachy Head and Glyndebourne.
Eastbourne has many museums, sailing clubs, beach, sea front gardens, golf clubs and National Trust Houses which should meet a wide variety of interests. Walkers are also spoilt for choice with areas to explore including the South Downs Way over the Seven Sisters cliffs and surrounding countryside.
From Eastbourne you can also visit the battlefields and Abbey of the Battle of Hastings, Pevensey Castle, Rudyard Kipling's home at Batemans, the Bentley Wildfowl Motor Museum and the Royal Pavilion in Brighton. There are also many gardens in the area including Sissinghurst Castle Garden, Great Dixter house & garden and Sheffield Park.

Take the A2270 to Eastbourne from Polegate. Following the A2021 Kings Drive head towards and past Eastbourne Hospital A&E continuing straight over the roundabout towards the town centre. About 200 metres ahead you will reach a yellow speed camera where you should turn right immediately up Kings Avenue. You will find Ocklynge Manor at the top of the road at the T junction with the blue plaque on the wall.
To park, turn right onto Mill Road and left to the black gates. Ocklynge Manor is not visible behind the flint wall but there is a white owl at the drive entrance.

Decorated to the highest standard the rooms at Ocklynge Manor are comfortable and homely.
The first bedroom is spacious and airy sleeping two in a double bed. There are en-suite facilities, television, DVD player, hairdryer and fridge in the room as well as tea and coffee making facilities.
The second bedroom includes a double and an adjoining single room which share the en-suite bath/shower room. Both rooms include television, DVD player, fridge, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities.
The third bedroom is a twin room with an en-suite shower room. The room includes tea and coffee making facilities, TV, DVD player, Radio, hairdryer and fridge.
Linen in all the rooms are made from 100% Egyptian cotton which provide a luxury to relax in after a long day and there are picturesque views out over the gardens. Guests are also free to enjoy the seating area out in the gardens, gazebo, grotto and well as well as all the flowering plants, a rare manna ash and a 300 year old holm oak.
For breakfast, taste buds can be satisfied with a delicious Full English breakfast with home made bread and marmalade.
Unfortunately we are unable to accept children under 16 to Ocklynge Manor or dogs for allergy reasons.
