Arle Lodge is just 5 miles from Tobermory where you can find shops, restaurants, public houses, bank and garage. Selen is a small village to the south of Arel Lodge which also has some shops, hotel/bar and petrol station. There is very easy access from the lodge to the shore which is perfect for those looking to canoe or swim.
On Mull you can relax on the beaches and walkers are free to ramble with Ben More just 15 minutes away. Wildlife lovers can discover the numerous species including otters, golden eagles, sea eagles, and 203 species of birdlife. Basking sharks can be spotted, dolphins and seals which come to the shore with their pups in summer. Spring time brings deer, wild flowers, orchids and lambs.
While you are in the area you may also like to visit the Island of Iona, Duart Castle, Torosay Castle, Wildlife Tours, Wings over Mull, Tobermory Chocolate Factory, the Distillery, An Tobar Arts Centre, Staffa and Fingal's Cave, standing stones/stone circles, Whale Watching Trips, the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust and the Isle of Ulva.
Fishermen can enjoy freshwater and sea fishing or there's sailing, cycling with several routes available, camping, boat trips, food and music festivals, Highland games and children will enjoy the Quest for the Magical Stone of Mull.

Arle Lodge is found 15 miles north from the Oban-Craignure ferry terminal and 10 miles north of the Lochaline-Fishnish ferry on the A848. We are well signposted.

Lodge Description
Arle Lodge is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for the comforts of a Bed and Breakfast but the freedom of a Self Catering accommodation. Fully equipped guests are free to enjoy breakfast whenever you want and make your own meals.
Six of the ten bedrooms available have en-suite facilities and seven of the rooms will also fit a Z-bed if required. We have two family rooms available (1 double and 3 singles in separate rooms or 1 double and 2 singles) and there are also 8 twin rooms. There is disabled access and ground floor rooms. Unfortunately we do not have the facilities to accommodate children under 8 but a dog is welcome by prior arrangement.
The sitting area is spacious and can also be used as a lecture room which is perfect for those looking to work or study. The lodge has free wi-fi access so you can bring a laptop or use the computer in the office to check your e-mails.
The kitchen should supply you with everything you need to make the most of your self catering break including cooker, microwave and fridge etc. with plenty of crockery and utensils.
There are plenty of showers available and a drying area for wet clothes. Out in the garden you can enjoy a barbeque without the midgies thanks to the latest technology we have installed and watch some of the spectacular sunsets we enjoy including Aurora Borealis and the starry skies.
We also have an en-suite apartment which has a private entrance, one bedroom with a double and single bed but space for an added Z-bed. The lounge includes television and a double sofa bed. There's a shower room with toilet and a kitchen and dining room which is fully equipped and includes laundry facilities. There are sheep in the garden and 2 dogs.
