From Penrith (situated on the M6 motorway): Take the A66 past Keswick to the Cockermouth roundabout (the Sheep and Wool Centre) and turn left onto the A5086. After 9 miles take a left turn signposted to Kirkland. Once at the village crossroads, go straight on (towards Ennerdale Bridge). We are the last house on the left in Kirkland.

We are situated in the village of Kirkland overlooking Ennerdale (close to Ennerdale Bridge), one of the most unspoilt areas in the Lakes, and are within easy reach of some of the best fell-walking areas in the UK including Ennerdale itself, Wasdale, the Lorton Valley and the fells in between.
Facilities include broadband Internet access with guest computer and wireless connection for customers laptops,Freeview TV in most bedrooms and an outdoor hydrotherapy spa/hot tub for guests to use at no extra cost.
We are on the route of the C2C cycleroute from Whitehaven and have some of the best cycle touring and mountain-biking routes to be found in this country. We are also only 1.2 miles from the Coast to Coast Walking route made famous by Alfred Wainwright.
