Stonehenge is Britain's most outstanding monument. Old Sarum Castle is an Iron Age fort once used by the Romans, Saxons and Normans. Heale and Stourhead Gardens offer visitors the chance to explore the 8 acres of gardens and stonework and you can even buy unusual plants from the Plant Centre. Salisbury Cathedral has been restored and a great example of medieval architecture.
For those who like to shop, Wilton Shopping Village can provide it all with outlet shops with leading brands and antique stores. There's good value and a lovely setting by the river. Salisbury Playhouse is a theatre complex and cinema and just a short walk away from the Old Rectory.

The Old Rectory is a Victorian House in a historical area of Salisbury and enjoys the peace and quiet while only being minutes from the centre of town. We welcome all our guests with a smile and with several rooms available are sure there will be one to suit your needs.
The Rumens Room is a luxurious double with picturesque views out over the green English garden. This room along with The Annetts Room are tranquil and reflect the houses past when Clergymen would reside here. The Annetts Room can either be used as a double or a twin room so adapted to suit your needs with lots of space available and airy feel. There's ample storage room for clothing and bright clean en-suite bathroom. The Goodall Room is a cosy single room complete with en-suite bathroom.
Each room comes with colour television, radio alarm, hairdryer, drinks tray and ironing facilities on request. You can access our wireless internet and we're more than happy to welcome children over 12 years old and cyclists as we can safely keep bikes in the lock up garage.
Guests are free to make use of the patio and garden and the guest sitting room with open fire.
In the morning, guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast served in the conservatory and meet other guests. There are scenic views out over the garden which can be enjoyed while being served a Continental breakfast. Special dietary requirements can also be catered for if you let us know.
