With 4 and 5 star ratings, Wolfen Mill has ten self catering cottages and suites that will provide you with ideal place to relax and unwind. The complex can also offer catered dining and a lakeside lounge where you can get to know other guests.

Miller's Den is a ground floor apartment leading off the courtyard. Perfect for two in either a double or two single beds the place has character with wood effect floors and beamed fireplace which you can sit by in the colder months on the comfortable sofa and watch the TV with video and DVD player or listen to a CD or radio. The kitchen has granite work tops with halogen hob, fan assisted oven, dishwasher, fridge with ice box and microwave. The luxury shower room includes Miller Swedish furniture. We do welcome one well behaved pet here by prior arrangement and small charge.

Tweedy may be the smallest property but still maintains the high 4 star quality of the rest of the properties we have. The well equipped kitchen includes dishwasher, fridge freezer, halogen hob, fan assisted oven, microwave and granite worktops. The luxury bathroom with Miller furniture is spacious and there's an open plan bedroom with standard double bed, dining area and lounge with leather arm chairs, television, DVD, video player and CD/Radio. Juts outside the door there is direct access to the courtyard.

From the smallest property to one of the largest, Leagram Hall can sleep 6 people in the master bedroom with king size bed, twin bedroom and bunk room. The master bedroom has its own luxury shower room while the other two rooms share another shower room of the same high standard. In the lounge guests can relax on the two three seat sofas in front of the stone fireplace with coat fire with TV, CD/radio, DVD and video at your disposal. The kitchen has hand built units and includes dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, halogen hob and fan assisted oven. From this first floor property there are scenic views out over the vale of Chipping and all the previous guests have found Leagram Hall to be of great quality.

Bluebell Studio is another first floor property which can sleep two in a super king size bed or twin beds. If you are looking for a romantic place to stay, Bluebell Studio has views out over the waterfall and exposed wooden beams, oak dining furniture and luxury Miller en-suite shower room. The hand built kitchen has dishwasher, fridge with ice box, halogen hob and fan assisted oven with a wood burning effect fire in the lounge, comfortable sofa, TV, video, DVD, Hi-Fi and CD player.

Curlew's Nest has a contemporary cottage feel on the first floor and can sleep 2 people with 2 occasional guests on the sofa bed. There's a large king size sleigh bed and Louis Philip furniture with exposed ancient beams creating an ideal romantic retreat. The spacious luxury bathroom has Miller furniture and the lounge/dining area has a bright and airy feel with views over the courtyard and arches leading to the gardens. The kitchen contains and electric stove and the TV, video, DVD and CD/radio can help you unwind in the living area.

Suttons Loft has a very cosy atmosphere and a wonderfully spacious bedroom with fitted wardrobes and 6' super king size bed. Access to the property can be from the steps in the courtyard or through Wolfen Mill on the first floor. There is a luxury bathroom with double bath and separate shower cubicle. The lounge, dining area and kitchen contain all you need to make the most of your self catering break.

Bowland Bower is a ground floor cottage with welcoming lounge with stone fireplace and real flame gas fire. There's a TV, DVD, video and CD player for entertainment and wood effect flooring. This room also doubles as a second bedroom sleeping 2 on the sofa bed if required. The main bedroom has a king size bed and luxury shower room with Miller furniture. In the kitchen you can work on the granite worktops and make use of the halogen hob, fan assisted oven, dishwasher, fridge with ice box and microwave. Outside you can step onto the patio area by the waterfall and gardens. A pet is welcome here by prior arrangement.

The Saddlery is a ground floor cottage styled property with standard double bed and light oak furniture. Another two guests can be accommodated in the lounge on the sofa bed if required. The luxury shower room has mahogany finish units, WC and basin. The lounge is comfortable with sofa bed, TV video, DVD, stereo CD and radio player with kitchen leading off the lounge comprising of granite work tops, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer. A pet is welcome in this property by arrangement.

Courtyard Cottage is just across the courtyard from Wolfen Mill and used to be the old steam room. The open lounge and dining area has a sofa bed, TV, video, DVD, Stereo CD, radio, log effect stove and a cast iron spiral staircase. The bedroom has a vaulted beamed ceiling and comfortable king size bed so you can relax and unwind. There's small shower room in this property with power shower and kitchen containing granite worktops, halogen hob, fan assisted oven, microwave and fridge freezer. A well behaved pet is welcome by prior arrangement.

Beech Tree Cottage is one of the newest properties and one of the most luxurious situated next to the owners of the Mill. This 5 star self catering cottage will sleep 6 people in two upstairs en-suite double rooms and third double bedroom downstairs. The en-suite rooms have shower over bath or shower room while downstairs there is a toilet and wash basin. The hand built farmhouse style kitchen has a tall fridge freezer, halogen hob, fan assisted over/grill and microwave with dining area for up to 8 people. Guests can relax on the sofas and arm chair in front of the TV with DVD player and CD player. Stepping outside through the patio windows, there is a flagged garden area and there is parking available next to the property. A pet is welcome here by arrangement.

All of the above properties can make use of the washing and drying facilities Wolfen Mill has available free of charge.

Wolfen Mill has a communal lounge which all guests are welcome to use. The setting is wonderful with views out over the lake and the fells in the background and if you get up early enough you may be able to discover the local wildlife with deer and birds. Whether you'd like to enjoy time alone or get to know the other guests, the lounge is free for you to take a seat and enjoy.

For those looking for a place to hold a special occasion, Wolfen Mill could be the perfect place whether it's a wedding or a romantic break. Hired for your exclusive use the 10 properties can accommodate up to 38 guests (including sofa beds) whether for the weekend or midweek. We hold a wedding license for up to 50 guests and the dining room can be used by arrangement. You may prefer to cater for yourselves or we can help with catering teams from the local area.
