Hotel Description
The Roebuck Hotel is in a picturesque rural location and has retained a lot of its character and charm with exposed oak beams and real log fires to keep you warm during winter. During the summer, guests can enjoy a barbeque on the patio area while enjoying the views out over the garden.
With 30 en-suite bedrooms, each is well equipped to ensure your stay is comfortable television, hairdryer and telephone. Feature rooms are available and four poster bed which is perfect for a romantic retreat. The hotel is ideal too if you are looking to enjoy a long stay, dinner, bed and breakfast and corporate rates.
Our function room is large and will hold around 150 people making it the ideal location to host a celebration whether you are looking to celebrate a civil wedding ceremony, birthday, anniversary or reception. We will do our utmost to ensure your day is memorable.
The Ashdown Suite has scenic views out over the lawns of the gardens and doors opening out onto the terrace. Decorated to suit your colour scheme we can comfortably seat 100 guests during the wedding breakfast and 160 for the evening party. During spring and summer, the gardens are filled with colour proving a beautiful backdrop for the wedding photographs and an area in which children can play. The adjoining Huntsman bar is available for your private use and can provide drinks from arrival until departure.
Licensed for Weddings, we can provide general information with the rest available from the registrar. If any of your guests require accommodation we can provide double and twin rooms and Full English breakfast. The four poster room is complimentary to the bride and groom on the wedding night.
If you require a function room, we can provide the food, whether buffet or meal, and entertainment with the added bonus of guests not having to travel for accommodation. If you are holding a conference, we have presentation equipment available for hire including overhead projector, screen, flip chart, television, video, powerpoint and projector facilities. Table refreshments are available, stationery, tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival, midmorning tea, coffee and biscuits and 2 course buffet lunch with special dietary requirements catered for. The 24-hour delegate package includes overnight accommodation, Full English breakfast and 3 course dinner.
