"I'm lucky enough to visit this beautiful area of scotland on a regular basis. If you ever get to Fife, why not try a meal from one of the best, if not the best Fish and Chips shop in the United Kingdom. Anstruther is just 25 minutes from St. Andrews and is on a lovely unspoilt part of the coast, so worth a visit in it's own right.
Awarded 'Scottish Cafe of the Year 2005'
The Fish Bar has frequently received awards from the Seafish Industry Authority for maintaining consistently high standards.
Be warned though. If you're there in the summer, you may have to wait for an hour. But it's worth it.
Try my favourite:- Lemmon Sole in batter.
