"Lakeside caravan and camping park is in a lovely location surrounded by the the Brecon Beacons National park. We have visited this place on many occassions and camped everytime. It's amazing how east it is to get to and the feeling of escapism once you are there. Freshair, hills, forests and activities all in easy reach. Right next to Langorse lake, you can hire canoes, go horse riding or a bit further afield you'll find many other activities.
The campite itself has toilet and shower blocks that are perfectly adequate. What is particularly appealing is the open campsite where you can pitch up wherever you fancy. Everytime we've been, there's plently of space to choose from. If you're lucky enough to be there on a clear night, you're far enough from major roads and built up areas to have a stunning star show. Just lay back and chill out.
Also on the site you have a small shop and cafe. Though the cafe is quite expensive. You're probably better off taking your own little stove. But the cafe does make it easier to get a hearty breakfast.
If you're looking for a couple of nights in the sticks, surrounded by the Brecons I can't recommend this place enough.
Please let me know if you want to know anything else.
Thanks for reading."
