"Connolly's Cafe Bar is located in Tycoch Square in Sketty, not too far from Swansea College.
A family run business, it is a modern and interesting place to eat. They have exotic items like orange sorbet, served in a bowl made from the orange. And fantastic Thai curries.
The setting is informal and relaxed, and if you sit at the back you can watch the world go by through the large bay window overlooking Harlech Crescent. The off-licence section is also pretty busy, so if you sit near the open plan kitchen area, you can do some excellent people watching. There are also more private areas, including by the large bay window to the rear.
I think it may also be possible to see the sea from here, but it depends on the weather.
Also, the whole café is open plan, so you can see your food being cooked in the middle.
Because it is located in the square, parking may be an issue, however there are marked bays just across the crossroads further down Carnglas road.
Additionally, they have a Silver Welsh Hygiene Award.
They also have an off licence area, so you could grab a reasonably priced bottle of wine to take home when you pay your bill."
