FORGE VALLEY HOLIDAY COTTAGES

"I would like to recommend forge valley cottages for a great holiday in Yorkshire. The cottages are situated in the small village of East Ayton just four miles outside Scarbourough, and are very comfortable with everything you could possibly need included, as well as extras, including private parking and a small back garden. We stayed in Honeysuckle cotage and loved it.The cottages are located close to many wonderful attractions, not least being the fantastic Deniston pub which is straight across the road. The Deniston serves the most delicious bar meals , their quality only being matched with the quantity, The wonderful friendly service of the bar manager and staff, makes this pub a pleasure to visit, and why make your own meals when these are so reasonable and so good.
The lovely typically British seaside resort of Scarbourgh is only a five minute drive from East Ayton and holds many attractions, from Alan Ayckbournes Theatre in The Round to the glorious Peasolm park,fairgrounds and waterworlds for the kids and fantastic shopping,shows and restaurants for the adults.
Other great places to visit are York with its beautiful Minster and museums, Goathland where Heartbeat is filmed, Whitby,Beverly, Robin hoods Bay and of course Castle Howard where you can spend a whole day walking in the wonderful grounds as well as seeing round the Castles interior.
You will never be bored in this part of Yorkshire, of that I can assure you.Markets, steam trains ,boat trips this area has everything and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
