Lewisham Shopping Centre!

"Lewisham Shopping Centre takes the phrase 'drop till you shop' to a new level! Although Town Centres like Lewisham find themselves constantly competing with hypermarkets such as Bluewater, this gem of a store has succeeded in maintaining their customers. Why? Because of their superb and outstanding customer services; namely, their Information Kiosk is very informative and helpful. I've visited the store nearly every Saturday and still find myself pleasantly surprised each time. On entering their premises, you may park your car at their multi-storey car park which is open every day of the week. I usually find myself with plenty of spaces to park my car even on a busy day such as Saturday, as it accommodates 800 cars in total.
After you've parked your car, you can take a lift or the stairs to the Shopping Level. I must say, one of the annoyances is the lack of lifts – there are two lifts separated by a block of wall and you have to keep running to see if the lift has arrived yet! Nevertheless, once you emerge from the lift you are surrounded by shops running parallel down the entire centre. At the central area of the store there is a food court for you to sample your delights, including Muffin Break and Ponti's. One of my favourite clothes shop is 'Risky' which is accessible at the corner of the store – their clothes are very fashionable and at astonishing low prices! The main supermarket in Lewisham is Sainsbury's which is located next to £-stretch. I usually shop at Sainsbury's for my weekly grocery shopping as it's very welcoming and air conditioned. Their products are very fresh with a wide range to choose from.
There are also your standard accessory shops such as Woolworths (keep the kids happy by distracting them with toys), The Works (for paper filled fun) and WHSmiths for you to purchase a good read. Furthermore, their countless clothes store is enough to satisfy the most fashion conscious among us! There are stores aimed at teenagers such as Wallis, New Look, Next and the stylish numbers at Atlantic Clothing! If you are looking for clothes suitable for younger ones check in at Bhs and household favourite M&S. After purchasing your garments you certainly will need some accessories to give a flair to your outfit – Claire's Accessories is available to help!
Indeed, there are those among us who prefer hi-tech goodies as opposed to scrubbing up well, no fear as Lewisham Shopping Centre provides stores such as: Carphone Warehouse, Game, O2, Phones 4U, T-Mobile and not to miss out the pioneering Sony Centre.
Lewisham Shopping Centre's brilliance doesn't end there – there is a marketplace which is situated just outside the centre. The markets sell delicious fruits, vegetables and even fashion accessories! Since these are traded at a market place you can usually grab yourself a real bargain! The marketplace is in opened weather conditions so beware to bring an umbrella with you if the weather is looking gloomy!
As if that weren't enough, there are further facilities provided to you by Lewisham Shopping Centre! This includes a passport booth if you're whisking away on holiday soon, a cash dispenser [if you understandably run out of cash whilst shopping] and a even a post box which is located in Sainsbury's!
Lewisham Shopping centre is essentially a town centre so it is easily accessed by car or public transport. For car users, Lewisham Shopping Centre is sited in the vicinity of the intersection of the A20 and A21. The entrance to the carpark can be found in Molesworth Street. For public transport users, there are numerous buses which stop directly outside the shopping centre including: No. 21, 136, and 47. For railway users take the 'Docklands Light Railway' which is only a short walk away from the shopping centre!
