"Bolton abbey is a great place to go. If you want to go on a walk around the ruins of the abbey its a great thing to do. There is a large river so on warm days your kids can have a paddle. Some people just like to relax and have a picnic by the watersedge or have a barbecue. Its a wicked place to be and has a wonderfull enviroment its fantastic. There is plenty of nice walks around this area you can decide how long you want to walk maybe its just a quick look round the ruins or maybe its a long treck over moors and hills. There is a huge car park allocated on a field you might have to pay but its not very much at all. The abbey is wonderfull you can have a brilliant day out here and have a stunning day. Once you have been here once you start coming more often as we loved it and found it a beautifull place and we was only a one hours drive away from it. Bolton abbey is located in the yorkshire area if you have satalite navigation it will be easy to find. If not there are loads of maps on how to get to bolton abbey. Im sure you will have a fantastic day at bolton abbey like are family did it was superb and we had an awesome picnic and a paddle and sail down the river on my dingey boy boy was it fun."
