"The Pheasant InnEnjoy...freshly prepared food, great traditional ales and well chosen wines. Just imagine a picturesque location where you'll find a warm friendly welcome, good wholesome food, traditional ales and a selection of wines from around the world. Tucked in a peaceful corner of rural Cheshire, The Pheasant Inn at Higher Burwardsley enjoys some of the most panoramic views in the area. Delightful old sandstone buildings, open fires, a flower filled courtyard for a drink as the sun goes down-they all add up to magic. Whether you come to drink, dine or unwind for a few days, this atmospheric location will quickly have you under its spell. A tasty lunch whilst out walking, or a meal for a special occasion? The choice is yours, but the quality is consistent. The waiters and waitresses were very welcoming, and the food was superb. I had lovely pasta in a tomato, parsley and cumin sauce laid out on top of some foccachia bread. Amazing food!
The Fardon Arms
The Fardon Arms Inn and Restaurant is a delightful hotel, run by the Bouchier family, that is just a short journey from the attractions of Chester, Cheshire, Shropshire and North Wales and is also within easy reach of the motorway networks, major cities and both Liverpool and Manchester airports.
An excellent, traditional bar, recognized by The Campaign for Real Ale over many years for the quality and range of the beers it sells, offers you the chance to relax and ease away the stress of a long day's hard work.
The Victorian style first floor restaurant offers some of the best cuisine in the area to conjure up extravagant tastes at a reasonable budget. Offering dishes using the best of local produce. British steaks, market fish and totally fresh vegetables you can be certain that your experience will be a pleasant and enjoyable one. I know mine was!"
