"Situated at the end of this great country, lies Lands End. beautiful coastline, wonderful attractions and the most memorable day out you could ever have. A lot of people put the lands end experience off, because they feel it is too 'commercial' but it is truly unspoilt, infact the Lands End experience gives you more than beautiful views - it gives you a day to remember, for all the family. In this guide, I will tell you everything about this unique place, and what makes it so special.
LOCATION
Lands End is exaclly where it says it is - The end of the land! But before you head North to Scotland, the end of the land I am talking about is situated in Cornwall.
GETTING THERE
Train/Coach: National Express offer pick up points from all over the UK, and go directly to Land End or Penzance (10 miles from Lands End) otherwise, the nearest train station is Penzance. Of course, you can drive there. Expect a 350 mile journey from London. For a full route plan, try the www.theaa.com route planner (or any other leading route planning software)
WHAT TO DO HERE
Apart from the breathtaking scenery, cliffside walks and sea air, The lands end experience has 6 amazing attractions. I will tell you about each one in more detail
The Sweet Factory
Land's End's exclusive traditional sweet factory! Watch the famous sweet workers do their thing, and see the process of the sweets being handmade. After this you can sample the delicious finishing product. Sutiable for kids and adults alike!
The Last Labyrinth
This attraction features the wonders of the world. Images, sound and video brought to life in this exciting attraction. Again, for kids and adults alike.
Relentless Sea
A beautiful, yet errie insight into the great ocean. This attraction tells of mans love, but at the same time, fear of the sea.
The Greeb Farm
If you have ever been to a farm before, you will know the excitement of seeing the animals. Well, at the Greeb Farm, the animals run wild. Touch and see all kinds of creatures, from goats to rabbitts. Situated right on the edge of the cliff, it is a truly breathtaking experience.
Air Sea SOS
Not for the faint hearted. This attraction shows the story of a stucken fisherboat, and the whole rescue process. A motion (moving) experience. Hope your not seasick! Expect this ride to last around 30 minutes in total - make sure you save some time!
End To End
Personally, my favourite experience of the lot. This amazing attraction shows the amazing people who have travelled from end to end (john o groats to lands end) and the ways they done it. There is also an amazing 5 minute video, which is a sped up car journey of the whole trip. If you are planning the big journey, this is a must!
As well as the attractions, there are some amusements, with arcade machines to keep the kids (and big kids!) amused, resturants, gift shops and cafes.
WHERE TO EAT
Within the Lands End experience, there are a couple of resturants and cafes, as mentioned above. Prices vary season to season, but for a one course meal, expect to pay £5-£7. If you want a traditional pub meal, wait until you leave the experience, and try the Lands Last Pub, on your right hand side of the road (5 mins from experience).
PRICES
Car Parking is £3 per car per day. This gives you entrance into the Lands End Experience. Attraction prices vary from season to season, but at peak times expect to pay around £4 per attraction or £12 for a wristband, which gets you into each experience.

QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT ASK, ANSWERED IN ADVANCE BY ME!
Q - Is it sutiable for kids too?
A - Yes! my wife and I took 2 children aged 7 and 12 to Lands End, and they loved every minute of it. The attractions are sutiable for people of all ages
Q - How much is a day out likely to cost for 2 adults and a child
A - Allow £15 (max) each for the experiences, £7 each for food and drink, and of course souvineers - I would say £80 will do it safely. If you are on a budget though, £3 is all it costs for car parking, and there is still plenty to do - take a picnic!
Q - Are Dogs allowed
A - On leads at all times, yes, but not in the experiences (except greeb farm)
Overall Lands End is a true family day out. You will not be dissappointed!"
