"Battersea Park. Amongst he attractions in this riverside park are a deer park, sub-tropical gardens, and a wildflower garden. Facilities specifically for children including fields, a small zoo, and a miniture railway are situated here.

Crystal Palace Park
This 200 acre park is named after the huge glass and iron structure that was built in 1851 for the Great Exibition. It was moved here form Hyde Park in 1854, and destroyed by fire in 1936. Situated in the park, whose hill side site commands extensive views, is an Olympic standard swimming pool and a superb sports stadium. rvivors of the Great Exibition are the life sized models of prehistoric creatures which are to be found on an island in the lake. These brightly coloured denizens are perennial favourites with children and photographers.

Two great places to visit, so visit today. Written by Jonathan Simons"
