"The heat is on - your mates want traditional indian food, in unlimited quantities for under a tenner. They want somewhere trendy, yet cheap. Only one place comes to mind, and boy is it good - Chillies, Milton Keynes. Forget being the best indian buffet in Milton Keynes, this is the best in England! Why is it so good you ask? Well, let me explain
The Building:
Very modern in design, Chillies is tucked away beside Pizza Hut in the theatre district. It looks small from the outside, but once you get in, you will be amazed.
The Food:
The most important thing. To sum up the food in one word would be absolutlly delicious! Well, thats two words, but never mind! Prepared to a very high standard, using the finest ingredients money can buy, chillies has a whole host of dishes on offer. From the Cosy Chicken Korma to the Lush Lamb RoganJosh, Chillies can cater for everyone. Naan breads are hand made to order, right infront of your eyes, and all the buffet dishes are readily prepared, ready to tuck in to. There are three sections to the buffet. Starters, Main Courses and desserts. With so many different dishes to chose from, so many sauces to try - you will be spoilt for choice, so why not try it all - its all included in the price! The starters include such delights as chicken tikka, poppadums and onion bajhis. The desserts range from Pistachio ice cream down to jelly!.
Cost:
Chillies buffet is around £9.95 per person in the evenings, and £7.95 at lunchtime. This allows you to eat all you can, starters main courses and deserts. And, as an extra bonus to Your Stay UK readers, I will let you in on a secret! (whisper: look out for the special discount voucher in the Milton Keynes paper, the Citizen. you will find it in the supplement magazine Go! and it gives you money off. They are published almost every week!)
The Staff:
The staff are always on hand to give you the best indian experience money can buy. If you want to know about the dishes, need a top up drink, have any issues, the staff are knoledgable and caring - just waiting to help you out.
Drink Prices:
Not too bad for a resturant. Pints from about £3 and soft drinks at around £1.50. They have a good selection of wines, spirits, indian beers and unusual drinks such as lassi's and mango milk.
Location:
Chillies is situated in the Theatre District of Central Milton Keynes, Very close to the theatre infact (funnily enough!) You can find the theatre district close to the Xscape Building.
To End:
A nice, traditional eating experience for all the family or all the friends, that truly won't burn a hole in your pocket, just maybe your mouth!"
