"Surrey Quays is a fantastic shopping centre, which is especially convenient for me to shop since it is a speedy five minutes for me to drive there. However, for those living slightly further away, Surrey Quays is renowned for having excellent transport links, including the contemporary underground station; Canada Water. Surrey Quays consists of a wide range of shops, its main supermarket being Tescos where is where I do my weekly grocery shoppings. The carpark is extremely spacious, and has 1400 free carpark spaces [but with a 3 hour time limit].

The shops inside are best suited for the fashion concious - from fashion giants New Look & River Island to well-established stores such as Bay, you are defintely spoilt for choice. Surrey Quays shopping centre offer the best shops around, all under one roof.

Why not stop at small cafe Tchibo for a cappaucino? The prices are affordable and quality of beverages are superior for those on the go. For those with families, you can shop at family stores such as Bhs, or if you are looking for toiletries you can drop by Superdrugs or boots.

If you are a parent with a small child and unsure about how to spoil them on their birthday, send the kids and their friends to Discovery Planet where they are positively guarenteed to have a memorable day out. This is a play centre with fun activities for the birthday boy or girl - let your child celebrate their birthday in style, a day not to forget.

If you are not looking for a shopping experience, and searching for financial advices, you can visit the various banks on offer; HSBC, Abbey National, and Halifax, just to name a few. Whatever you need - from transactions to withdrawals, they can be done at Surrey Quays Shopping Centre.

To further englighten your experience at Surrey Quays, there are occasionally special events that take place inside or near Surrey Quays. During the summer period, there are usually engaging activities to keep the kids busy - last year; an ice-rink, nail polish designs, all free of charge.

If you wish just to relax and wind down whilst your friend/relative shops, and escape the busy hustle of the crowds, you can wait outside the shopping centre with a front view of a river. There are swans in the river which you may or may not be permitted to feed. Nevertheless, this area of Surrey Quays shopping centre has a beautiful landscape.
