"Harpers Restaurant in Manchester is possibly one of the best restaurants i've ever been to. There are plenty of other restaurants with nicer, more modern decor, but the food and service in Harpers are unrivalled.
Ok, so maybe it could do with a bit of a revamp, but this place is so good that you often get footballers and other 'local celebrities' in there, such as Coronation Street stars. This might partly be to do with the fact that it is fairly hidden away, despite being in Central Manchester. If you're unlucky enough to not bump into a celebrity in Harpers, their pictures and autographs are stuck up on the walls around the restaurant.
The food is amazing, and not that pricey. The average bill for 2 people is about £65, and that's if you've had plenty of wine and at least one steak! The food is always cooked to perfection, and if something isn't rihgt they're always more than happy to change it for you. The wine that they serve in Harpers is also of the highest quality.
The service - well what can I say? The time left between courses is just long enough and the staff can't do enough to help. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!"
