The Brecon BeaconsBrecon, Powys, Wales MidRecommendation added: 21/02/2006 21:05 By: redwarfgir (YSUK rating +2) redwarfgir has been thanked 2 times for this contribution
"If you are visiting wales ths year why not visit the Brecon Beacons. Brecon itself is a quiet market town with a good tourist information office. Its also got a canal, good for fishing, walking along or taking a canalboat ride, good shops, pubs and restaurants oh and a really good leisure centre
I have been visiting reguarly for the last 8 years and me and my family never get bored. We stay outside Brecon at langorse lake where you can do all sorts of watersports such as sailing, windsurfing and waterskiing , my two children never get bored. They fish, canoe , ride bikes (little traffic)play rugby and footie , we have lots of picnics and barbeces. If you want a holiday somewhere peaceful and relaxing amongst wonderful scenery I would definately recommend it. If you are used to nightlife and clubs its not for you. Go on come and have some fun in the mountains" Was this recommendation useful?
