"Woolacombe Beach has 3 miles of golden sands. It is a really pleasant place to relax and unwind as it is very peaceful and yet has everything you would need for a day at the beach. At the entrance to the beach there is a shop and an ice cream shop. There are also beach huts and surf boards available for hire. The beach huts are located on the top of a slight sandy hill near the back of the beach and are very good. Each comes with a wind-break, a hammer, a table and four chairs. The waves are good for everyone in Woolacombe. Surfers and swimmers are abundant in the water and are all watched by a lifeguard patrol. There is a rubbish collection at the end of every day and litter bins are easily reached from all areas on the beach. We have been returning to Woolacombe for three years now and we never tire of this great beach!"
