"Yesterday was finally the day that me and my friends from Uni had arranged to meet at Thorpe Park! It was the best day ever! The journey up didn't look promising as it was raining moderately, but the spray on the motorway was bad and the sky didn't look much like clearing. When we arrived it was drizzling a little, but it soon stopped at low and behold the sun came out!!! First up, Vortex - my personal favourite. However i hadn't been for a good 2 years, so last time this was about the best non-rollercoaster ride. Then we did the magic carpet and then Collossus! Brilliant ride if not a little painful in the shoulder region (they hurt today). Then on to Samurai! - My new favourite non rollercoaster! Awesome ride. Then did Detonator before lunch (obviously). After a nice Pizza Hut buffet we headed for the rapids in an attempt to keep lunch down, got wet....... Then we decided to go for NEMESIS INFERNO, it may well be a copy of Alton's Nemesis, but i've never been there, so this was quality experience. Best rollercoaster i've ever done and certainly the best in the park. After a further 3 rides on this we decided to head back to Samurai for another 3 consective go's, then collossus again, then vortex, then X:\ No Way Out for the sole purpose of yawning for the on-ride photo and finally detonator for 3 consecutive go's at around closing time. All in all a fantastic day was had by the entire party and even the small numbers of chavs encountered couldn't spoil a great thrillseeker's day out! 10/10 for Thorpe Park!
