"This has to be one of the best places to go if you adore the peace, quiet and tranquillity of a little village by the sea.
Not only does it have 3-4 lovely pubs, all providing good home cooked food and excellant service but it has the advantage of being right by the sea with fantastic walks.
The children can play all day on the beach (parking provided for a small fee) and they can be sure of being safe and just having fun.
As parents you can enjoy the views, walks, little village shops and the pubs and restaurants that provide you with a good value for money meal.
I reccommend the Harbour Pub and restaurant for families with children as they do meals especially for them and aren't overally fussy about them running about and creating havoc. The views from the window are also spectacular, leading to a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
There is a camp site at the far end of the village that also has rooms to rent and cottages tto. This has its own beach to relax on and is private to you as site dwellers. I must add though that it is quite pebbley and a bit tricky to get to if you have a buggy.
There are a fair few places to visit on the island including the place with longest name, a lighthouse (with over 200 steps to walk down and back up),Llangefni town for your market or general shopping and the not too far away mountains of Snowdonia for the more adventurous walker.
The views are stunning, the walks exhilarating and the place breathtaking in beauty. What more could you want to relax."
