"Snowdon has to be my favourite place in Britain, after climbing the mountain several times I never get bored of the stunning views not just from the top of the mountain but also the views seen on the ascent and descent. Although there is a train to get up to the top I don't think anything can beat the satisfaction of reaching the top after a few hours of walking or the views that can only be experienced if you walk yourself. There is a also a great sense of freedom that can be felt as you make your way up the mountain, stopping to admire the views and take a lunch break.
Last summer I climbed Snowdon with some friends from university is was a fantastic opportunity to get to know fellow students in an envirmonment outside of university life and gave us a chance to bond as a team as we all helped each other make it to the top.
In conclusion Snowdon is my favourite place in Britain and I will continue to climb Snowdon and other surrounding mountains for many years to come."
