"This beautiful building, once more than a little bit scruffy, was taken over in 2005 by Holkham Estates and transformed into an upper class bar and restaurant. And a very good job they did, too.
The feel is clean and relaxed, with high bar stools on a laminated wooden floor and plenty of tables and benches outside for those who prefer a drink in the sunshine.
The food wasn't all that special when we tried it, but if you're after a quick bar snack you're unlikely to be disappointed."

I too would certainly recommend the Globe Inn. I visited Wells last week and I enjoyed several warm evenings sitting outside the front, people watching with a lovely bottle of wine. Great venue and I would also reccommend the food.
