"I could write for hours about this experience! We arrived at 9am and the Dungeons do not open until 10am but already a queue had started to form! After seeing the attraction, I can see why! its £19.95 per adult and is simply worth all that and more!
You are ushered into a room in groups of approx. 20 and your "guide" - dressed in full Sweeney Todd regalia suddenly runs off and dissapears! You are left in a room of mirrors to find your own way out. This is very un-nerving I can tell you! Eventually an exit appears and the tour continues.
Darkened rooms and strange odours are in every corner. The staff are very convincing and very well suited to the job - they take every effort to scare the punters! From flame throwers mere feet from your face and a water ride in pitch darkness the whole trip takes about 90 mins and its a scare a minute!
The ride at the end simulates being hung! I 20 foot freefall where ones bottom leaves the seat!!!!! I couldnt help but swear as it dropped! lol
Gift shop is the usual tackyness but thats not to bother about anyway.
Would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a scare!
Book early and get fast track tickets to avoid the queue. Only a stones throw from London Bridge Station.
