"A bank holiday at legoland. Ok, lets start off with the slight downsides. It was very busy, being a bank holiday in may, but it's gotta be expected. It took about 45 mins to get in. Next time we will avoid bank hols.
We didn't know much about legoland before arrival. Well to be honest the kids friends had convinced them to go so we did.
There are loads of rides some of which we couldn't get on because of the queues but we had a great time on the ones we did. We got on the hill train, the balloon school, the big wheel and many more. Great fun.
After all the fun probably the highlight for us was the lovely forest area where we took our food for an off the cuff picnic.
The kids loved the day out.
It was quite expensive - over £100 for two adults and kids, but for a treat it was worth it. Just remember if you go. There's a device you can hire that gets you to the front of queues automatically. We never got one, but worth investigating. Especially if it's a bank holiday.
