"Pastiche is a bistro in Lichfield that in my opinion has to be one of the best places to eat in this area. Situated in the city centre it can be a bit tricky to find if you are new to the area. The best way to get there is to travel into the centre and find you way to the train centre. From here travel up the road, turn left at the traffic lights and get onto the car park. From here it is a short walk down the road and when you turn right Pastiche is right in front of you.
It is a small restaurant but can fit quite a lot of people inside. It is over two floors and has a very cosy atmosphere to it. The staff are extremely friendly and are very helpful. The menus are the same throughout the month but then change on the first of the new month. So there is a new lunch and dinner menu every month. You can buy a three course meal for £5.50 at lunch and around £10 for the evening meal. The food is simply delicious and there is quite a good variety of food.
I always try something different every time I'm there. They also have extras such as chips and vegetables but these cost about £2 each. The puddings are probably the best and I love to go there just for this course. However all three courses are delicious.
I love this place and try to go every month for the new menu. The food is delicious and for the evening meal with drinks and extra courses you are looking at around £15 each which really isn't bad at all. I recommend this place if you are ever in Lichfield as it is a gem of a restaurant and the food is to die for.
