"On Friday it was my dear sisters birthday so to celebrate we decided to go out for a nice family meal to an Indian restaurant in the village where she lives. The Cinnamon Indian is quite a quaint and nice little place which is relatively new and already attracts big crowds. We have been for meals there in the past in the week and it has been busy and on the weekend it does get crowded so make sure you book in advance to make sure you get a table.
The address is as follows;

The Cinnamon Indian
123 Wolverhampton Road
Pelsall
West Midlands
WS3 4AD

Ok so the actual location of the Cinnamon Indian is quite sweet. It is on a relatively main 30mph road and is easy to spot when you are driving down it if you know what you are looking for. Pelsall is a quaint little village located in the West Midlands and although I wouldn't say there are loads to do there, it is within easy reach of places such as Birmingham, Lichfield and Sutton Coldfield which house lots of attractions.

The actual restaurant is nicely laid out just off the road and has a massive blue sign out the front so you can't really miss it which is good. The car park is ample and we have always managed to be able to find a spot. When you walk in you are taken into a very smart looking waiting area. The bar is on your right which is nicely stocked at all times and the floors are laminate so look very nice indeed. The restaurant looks small when you walk in but there are rooms to the side so it is a lot bigger than you do first think.

The tables you sit at are lovely and wooden with a very nice table runner for the plates and cutlery. The chairs are comfortable and you have a choice of round tables or square depending on how many people are there but also what you ask for when you book or arrive. The toilets are near and there are quite a few of them which is good and they are well stocked and very clean.

The menus are very nice and there is a large choice of all that you could want so all your normal curry and rice dishes. There are lots of vegetarian options which was good for me and lots of starters and desserts. On to mains first;

I had vegetable biryani which was delicious and my sister had chicken korma which was also yummy. The rice was cooked to perfection, there was lots of flavour in the curry and the naan bread was just beautiful. We all had different starters which were all very nice and i have to say one of the best Indian restaurants i had been to.

Now you might sit there and think i bet the price was high but it really wasn't. Starters were a few pound each and i know the main curries were around six pounds and the rice were about two so not that bad at all really. You do get a lot for your money too which is nice so you will not be leaving there hungry at all. It is all presented nice on your plate and they even spoon some on for you to start you off. I have to say it was all very nice and felt very posh.

The pudding selection was mainly ice cream at about four pounds each. We didn't have any as we had birthday cake when we got home but there was quite a big selection and we saw a few puddings and they did look nice. Unfortunately chocolate cake wins over ice cream every time for me but if i have some when we next visit i will update you on how it was.

The whole experience was very nice and there are so many waiters there that they are always on hand to help you if you need it. I only had to ask for a drink and it was with me a few moments later. They were very friendly and helped us out loads with what different curries were and what to choose. I also think the wait for the food was just about right and they brought all dishes out at the same time which is always good.

In conclusion i will give this restaurant top marks as it is truly lovely. I can see why it is busy all of the time with a good choice of well cooked foods at very reasonable prices. I will definitely return here to eat as i have done this time and i will recommend for anybody living in this area or visiting. A fantastic Indian.

Thanks for reading.
