"Yes this fantastic cycle trail is amazing and very pleasant. You can go from bodmin right through into Padstow. There are cycle hires from both ends which are fairly cheap for the day. Some providers charging just £8 per bike per day child or adult.
On the cycle trail named the camel trail follows a disused rail way line. It's very flat with just a slightly moderate climb when you're heading from padstow to Bodmin. Therefore, going back it's a slight slope then totally flat back into Padstow.
It's very pleasant you want a medium day when it's not very hot as its very tiresome work. There are awesome views and the path surface is very smooth. You can ride fast on this trail just please give way to pedestrians.
This trail goes under road bridges, passed mounds of rock, over bridges over the sea and many more features. It's a one off day you will never forget. You get a map and you can go as far as you want there are other stoppages frequently along the way you do not have to go to Bodmin / Padstow depending on the way you are going."
