"Mull is a beautiful little island in the heart of Scotland,where the childrens t.v show Balamory is filmed,there is a direct ferry from Oban and doesn't take too long to get there,the scenery and views are amazing and the locals are so friendly.On the way over look out for whales,basking sharks and other wildlife.

Definitely worth a visit if in Scotland,it has plenty of shops,hotels,restaurants and even pubs,but is also nice and peaceful to relax in the sun or take a stroll around.
There are plenty of things to look at and you can see all the boats go past and maby even some tall ships such as the spirit of Fairbridge which regularly comes ashore about once a week.
The best time to go would be in the summer when its nice and sunny which will make it easier to get to on the boat,and you will see more wildlife and get much better views."
