"The Jolly Roger is a popular local pub in the Hardway/Priddys Hard area of Gosport. It has lovely views out over Portsmouth Harbour and the Royal Navy Warships at anchor, which is very clear on a nice summer's evening when you can sit outside.
The Jolly Roger is a traditional pub with a real fireplace. There is lots of seating and a welcoming bar area. It's not the cheapest pub for a drink and a pint is around 3.00 pounds.
There is a restaurant which serves pretty decent pub food. The prices are around 4-5 pounds for a starter and 9-12 pounds for a main course so it's a not cheap but it's pretty good pub food for that, with traditional dishes such as steak and kidney pie as well as nicely cooked meats and fishes in a more 'gastro pub' style.
