FileyFiley, Yorkshire, England YorkshireRecommendation added: 30/01/2006 20:10 By: sspk (YSUK rating +103) sspk has been thanked 2 times for this contribution
"Filey is a very traditional seaside town with a 1950s / 1960s feel about it. Very quiet, with little in the way of traditional tourist attractions, nevertheless Filey offers a great day out for those more concerned with relaxation and scenery than thrills.
You can get some great food at the Three Tuns pub, or the Corner Cafe. Filey is very close to Bridlington and Scarborough, so a day trip is entirely possible from one of those two. Alternately, Filey could be used as a peaceful base for a more adventurous day out in Bridlington or Scarborough." Was this recommendation useful?
