"Loch Lomond aquarium is situated on the Loch Lomond shores, so before you have even gotten to the aquarium you get to have a lovely walk, when we visited we went for a walk around part of the loch stopping of for a picnic along the way, we did this as for us it was a bit of a travel to get there so decided to make a day out of it, there are a selection of shops and a café also at the loch lomand shores. One of the advantages I found to this place was if you didn't want to do it all in one go you could walk around half of the aquarium then leave and go for lunch then return when you were don't as your entry fee gets you a day pass to the aquarium so you can come and go as you please. We are luck enough to visit after the new seahorse breeding centre had been open I never knew there were so many kids of seahorse in till we visited, the aquarium if on several floors will lifts for disabled people and parents with prams.
They have staff around doing talks and also allow you to hold some of the see life which they have in little rock polls, which the children all seem to love. They even have an inside water fall and plants. They have a very large selection of fish and other sea life, where the fish are really small the have them in tanks with magnifying glass so that you can get a better look at them, I think one of my kids favourite was getting to see the clown fish like the ones from finding nemo, you can walk through the tunnels and have the fish swimming all around you, and as you go around there are interactive question boards where you can test your knowledge of sea life, boats and other such related things."
